Par Avion have been providing the bushwalking community with a reliable air service to Melaleuca for over twenty years. We can drop off or pick up passengers at Melaleuca, so that you can walk the South Coast Track to Cockle Creek, or Port Davey Track to Scotts Peak

We are the only airline that operate a twin engine aircraft service to Melaleuca, giving an extra level of safety.

Departs 09:00 and 13:30, however alternative times are available, including 07:00 or late afternoon on request

Baggage Limit:
20 KG per person (excess $3.50 per kg)

Freight to Melaleuca:
$3.50 per kg (food drops to Melaleuca are available)

Fuel at Melaleuca
As fuel is unable to be taken onboard our aircraft, we have these available for purchase at Melaleuca.

Gas Canisters: $10.00 per canister 230 grams
Metho & Shelite  $5.00 per litre.

We also have National Park Passes available for purchase for $30 p/p (2 month holiday pass)

Transport to and from Hobart
You can park your car for free at Cambridge Airport, alternatively, we can arrange free transport for you and your party from your hotel in the Hobart city area OR Hobart International Airport (less than 5 minutes away), please let us know when you are making a booking that you would like this.

Par Avion can now organise your transport back to Hobart City or the Airport from Cockle Creek with Evans Coaches - package deals inclusive of Airfare and Bus Transfers now available with Transport back to Hobart City for $265, or to Cambridge or Hobart Airport for $275.

Boat Transfers from Melaleuca
Par Avion operate power boats at Melaleuca which are available with prior arrangement to take your party to various locations within the Bathurst Narrows / Port Davey area. Please contact us for further details.
