Melaleuca was so beautiful, so much history and stunning scenery, we saw whales flying down the coast and the rare orange bellied parrots in their natural habitat. Our tour made it right out to the heads of Port Davey, where we could feel the remoteness, isolation and beauty of this place. I would absolutely recommend this trip, a well-run tour and a perfect day out.

This is a great little film that explains the tragedy of losing one of the wonders of the world, the original Lake Pedder. There are many reasons to restore Pedder, but it should never have been taken in the first place.
